MLS Team of the Week

(March 29, 2011) - Tally Hall (Gig Harbor, Wash.) has been named to the MLSsoccer.com Team of the Week, the website announced Tuesday.

Hall made six saves to help the Houston Dynamo to a 1-1 tie against the Seattle Sounders in front of a raucous Qwest Field crowd of 36,204 on Friday. Playing in front of roughly 40 family members, Hall kept the Dynamo in the game despite being outshot, 26-6.

According to Houston's website (www.houstondynamo.com), Hall made several crucial stops, including a point-blank header in the 27th minute and three in the second half alone on the Sounders' Fredy Montero. His six saves were one short of his MLS career high.

In two starts this season, Hall is 0-1-1 with a 1.00 goals against average. He has nine saves and a 81.8 save percentage in 180 minutes.

Hall was a standout for the Aztecs from 2003-06, earning All-America honors each of his final two seasons. A two-time Pac-10 first-team selection and NSCAA all-Far West honoree, Hall was named an Academic All-American in 2006 after his senior campaign.
