Jessica Udovich, G’96 ECNL, Shyann Glasser and Sarah Carter G’94 ECNL, are traveling to Las Vegas from February 7th - February 12th to participate in the National Development Camp. These three Washington Premier players received National Camp invitations due to their exceptional level of play, dedication and soccer acumen during last years ODP camp, and this years ODP Regional Championships. The three young players, all coached by Seth Spidahl, should be very proud of their soccer accomplishments. Congratulations ladies! Way to represent, we are so proud of you.

More than 190 invitation-only players will attend the event. Players will come together from around the country to train and play alongside fellow elite athletes. The developmental camp will highlight the players individual talents and provide opportunities for their play to shine

"US Youth Soccer ODP is the most storied and well established pathway for select players to climb the pyramid toward the National Teams," said Sam Snow, US Youth Soccer director of coaching. "For more than 30 years the program has positively impacted the growth of players, coaches, administrators and referees. No other elite player identification program reaches the depth and breadth of US Youth Soccer ODP. The serious soccer participant needs to be in this program."

US Youth Soccer is divided into four regions, Region I (East), Region II (Midwest), Region III (South) and Region IV (West) to assist in national competition and training.

US Youth Soccer ODP is the original Olympic development program and the only elite player development program claiming members of Major League Soccer and Women’s Professional Soccer as well as a majority of current and past national and youth team members, as alumni. And, with programs in all 55 State Associations as well as regional and national level championships and participation in international tournaments, US Youth Soccer ODP continues to lead the way.

Congratulations to the Washington Premier F.C. players who earned 5 out of the 22 selections for WA State at the 2012 Region IV ODP Champs All-Tournament Selections: (Boys) Ryan Schaefer ’96 Black (2nd Team) EPD ’97, Trevor Ervin ’97 Black  (1st Team) EPD ’98, and Henry Baldwin ’97 Black  (1st Team) EPD ’98. (Girls) Mariah Lee ’95 ECNL (1st Team) EPD ’96, and Jessica Udovich ’96 ECNL (2nd Team) EPD ’97.

Washington Premier F.C. ’96 ECNL players, Jessica Udovich, Morgan Weaver and Megan Spataro traveled to Phoenix, AZ to play with the ’97 EPD state team in the Regional ODP Championship. They fell short in the Semi-finals.

BU-16 Black players make ODP and Region IV Players’ Pool

WPFC ’94 black players Jacob Beardemphl ’95 and McKay Owsley ’94 were selected to attend the Sounders FC WA ODP Boys’ Regional Camp in McMinnville, OR, July 12-17.  McKay Owsley was chosen for the ’94 Region IV pool and went on to attend camp in Ontario, CA, July 26-30. McKay will find out late in September if he was selected for the Region IV travel team to play in the inter-regional tournament in Florida.

WPFC ECNL ’95 Sierra Carrington & Jordan Sallee were chosen to attend the Sounders FC WA ODP ’95 Girls Regional Camp.  Regional Camp begins next week in Moscow Idaho.

BU-14 Black and White players were selected to the ’97 ODP pool A and B teams.
