National Titles

Coach Seth Spidahl and the ’96 ECNL squad had a great run at the National event defeating Bay Oaks SC Botafogo and Sonoma County Alliance, two very strong California teams in pool play. Those wins, guaranteed the team a spot in the finals where they faced the NSA Premier Jaguars, the reigning Illinois State Champions. Having lost to the Jaguars 2-1 in preliminary play, the Premier girls took to the field and played a solid game, limiting the Jaguars to one goal off a set piece, while finding the back of the net twice. This is the first US Club National Title won by a Washington Premier F.C. Team.
